Who is this course for?
This course is a deep dive into what is happening in the development of artificial intelligence, what positive and negative outcomes could emerge, and what can be done to steer AI toward better futures.It is designed for people with experience in policy, safety, operations, or engineering who want to redirect their skills; for those moving into technical safety or governance roles who want strategic insight; and for newcomers to AI safety who want to take action with high impact. If you are unsure whether you fit the profiles mentioned above, we still encourage you to apply, because recent cohorts have included teachers, lawyers, engineers, and grassroots organizers.

This first cohort is in person and takes place in Madrid only.
Five weeks, about five hours per week: around three hours of reading and written exercises on your own, plus a two-hour in-person group session in Madrid to discuss the content.
